Introducing our NEW Chef Academy
Aspiring chefs, rejoice! An innovative new Production Chef apprenticeship is now available at STS...
Aspiring culinary professionals can experience ‘chef life’ from the very start with our NEW Chef Academy. Our Level 2 Production Chef apprenticeship kicks off with high-impact block delivery sessions in a community kitchen, fast-tracking students into a fully immersive practical experience that recreates real-life scenarios and raises the bar when it comes to experiential learning. Employers alike benefit very early on from the huge amount of learning achieved in quick succession throughout our bootcamp.
How STS’ ‘Chef Academy’ Level 2 Production Chef training works
Beginning in January 2025, apprentices will delight in the immersive and experiential learning elements of our apprenticeship. Following our initial three-week Chef Academy programme, learning unfolds over the course of 12 months with a combination of in-work observations, shadowing, group sessions, practical tasks and e-learning modules, that are all seamlessly integrated into the curriculum.
